Trebuchet Project

I had a lot of fun working and building the Trebuchet. I built my trebuchet out of popsicle sticks, a straw, a bottle cap and weights. It was a good experience to have. Our trebuchet barely worked, so what i would like to try next time is instead of using a bottle cap to hold the marble, I would like to use the bottom of a styro-foam cup. Also, I think i should stick on more weights so the marble will go further. I liked working on the trebuchet because we learned a lot about how they used to build the trebuchets back then.

The Decline of Rome

The Roman Empire is a success because the Romans treated their Empire as if it was the world. Rome fell as a result of pressure or invasions from the outside. It would take Western Civilization about ten centuries to recover a world which could be a rival of the Rome Civilization. The world of Greece and Rome was fashioned with the Greco-Roman tradition over many of years. The Results for the Romans was that they managed to create their own kind of world, something that turned out really successful in there civilization known as the Roman Empire. The conception of the “Genius of the Roman People” mostly sustained this Empire. World view dominated the social life of the Roman citizen of the Empire (http://www.historyguide.org) The Decline of Rome was a natural cause and has required little explanation. The Decline of Rome was an inevitable effect of immoderate greatness. The Decline was a process that has been going on for centuries. “Roman strengths eventually became Roman weakness (http://www.historyguide.org) When we talk about the fall of Rome, we are just talking about the western half of the Roman Empire. Apparently, the eastern half survived has the Byzantine Empire until 1453. There is no explanation of the fall and decline of Rome.

Nero And Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist: Hello Mr. Nero

Nero: Hi, I Need to talk to you about a serious problem.

Psychiatrist: Whats your problem?

Nero: I have a problem, with killing people.

Psychiatrist: Do you have reason to kill these people?

Nero: Not really , they are just getting in my way and i just kill them so it will make everything easier

Psychiatrist: Are you insane?. You shouldnt kill anyone if you dont even have a reason to kill them.

Nero: be quiet and help me or i willl try and kill you.

Psychiatrist: Maybe you should go to a mental institution to recieve some help.

Nero: Why cant you help me?

Psychiatrist: Because i really dont think anything i say to you will help you overcome this killing problem you have.

Nero: Please give me some advice.

Psychiatrist: ALright well maybe you should stop killing people first.

Nero: I dont think thats possible for me to do.

Psychiatrist: well your gonna have to try , its nonsense for you to kill people and especially your wife?

Nero: I had a reason to kill her.

Psychiatrist: You really didnt, you killed her only because you got upset at something she said to you. Doesnt that seem a little crazy.

Nero: Yes, it does but i dont care about anyone except for myself.

Psychiatrist: thats your problem ! you dont care about anything in the world except for yourself.

Nero: Thats why i am here. i need your help.

Psychiatrist: I really do not think there is anything i can do.

Nero: You are a stupid psychiatrist then. Your job is to help people with problems they have right?

Psychiatrist: Yes, but you have something seriously and mentally wrong with you !

Nero: You are a waist of my time!

Psychiatrist: Get out off my office now !

Nero: I will be glad too.

Psychiatrist: Just giving you a warning your going to end up being killed yourself

Nero: No one is going to be able to kill me if i kill everyone first.

Psychiatrist: Well, lets see how that works out for you.

Nero: yeah lets see, and your top on the top of my killing list. ! So watch out.

Tiberius Gracchus

I think that Tiberius is a hero. He was a hero to the people and extending rights to Roman plebeians and the Latins. The Roman Senate murdered him because he had to much appeal. He tried to help out the Romans and they thought he wanted to become king. He tried to help out the Romans not try to tear them down and apart.
